Bengaluru, August 10, 2026: KRAFTON India today announced that CarryMinati, one of the country’s most iconic, culture-defining content creators, is dropping into BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI). This is the first time ever, an Indian content creator has been brought into the game as a fully playable in-game character, not just a cameo or a cosmetic. This marks a new milestone for homegrown creators in Indian gaming and, honestly? This might be one of the most intriguing Indian entrances the Battlegrounds has ever seen!

Adding another first to the collaboration, the entire BGMI x CarryMinati Collection – from the playable character and Boss to every outfit, weapon skin, vehicle and card in the set – has been created and designed by India’s largest anime channel, NotYourType (NYT), bringing a creator-to-creator collaboration to life inside the game itself.

Speaking on the collaboration, Ajey Negar (CarryMinati) said: “Gaming has always been a huge part of who I am. I have played, laughed with gamers and spent years with fans  of the BGMI community. But becoming a character inside a game that has been a part of my life for years? That’s a different level altogether. What I loved about this collaboration is that nobody tried to make me fit into BGMI, they dropped me into the lobby. The team at KRAFTON India and Not Your Type has obsessed over every little detail, making sure the personality, the attitude and even the madness feel authentically me. It’s basically me, but bigger, bossier and louder! I can’t wait for everyone to squad up, take on the boss, and have a blast. See you all in the Battlegrounds. Let’s go!”

Srinjoy Das, Director, Marketing And Product Management, KRAFTON India, said, “Gaming today doesn’t exist in isolation, it lives alongside creators, memes, livestreams and the communities that shape internet culture every single day. CarryMinati has been at the centre of that cultural conversation for years, making him a natural fit for BGMI. Rather than simply featuring him in a campaign, we wanted to build an experience around him; one that players could engage with, recognise instantly and genuinely feel a part of. Together with NYT, we’ve created something that celebrates fandom and giving players moments worth talking about – in a way only gaming can.”

This is the latest chapter in a BGMI 4.5 season that’s already packed with blockbuster collaborations. Ferrari is turning heads with its Ferrari Speed Drift Collection, NARUTO has transformed Erangel and Livik into the Hidden Leaf Village through its Ninjas Assemble themed mode, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day has brought Skyline Plaza and Peter Parker’s iconic powers into the Battlegrounds. Now, CarryMinati joins the lineup as BGMI’s gamut of collaborations as an actual playable character inside the game, bringing his signature energy and unmistakable personality straight into the Battlegrounds.

Live from August 15 to September 13, 2026, the CarryMinati collaboration takes his signature roasts, his lively persona, and his larger-than-life energy and drops them directly into the Battlegrounds, arriving across BGMI’s WOW Maps and its classic mode, all backed by a content series that’s pure, unfiltered Carry.

Two Ways to Play With CarryMinati

True to his larger-than-life style, this collab shows up in two seriously fun ways:

Round One: CarryMinati WOW Map

BGMI’s WOW Maps ecosystem, where creators and players cook up entirely original experiences inside the game, just got its most electric addition yet. CarryMinati WOW is a fast-paced 2v2 Team Deathmatch map built around Carry’s signature style, packed with close-quarters shotgun combat and interactive traps engineered for exactly the kind of wild, clip-worthy moments that light up every creator’s feed.

Round Two: Face the CarryMinati Boss

Squad up and go head-to-head with the CarryMinati Boss across Erangel and Livik in Classic mode, because finishing him off (plus clearing select Play & Win challenges) earns CarryMinati Tokens. Cash those in through the CarryMinati Exchange Event for a loot list built for serious flexing.

Where Frost Meets Flame: The BGMI x CarryMinati Collection, Created by NotYourType

True to his larger-than-life style, this collab shows up in two seriously fun ways:

From August 15, 2026, BGMI players can rule the Battlegrounds in ice-forged armor, gold-crowned gear and CarryMinati’s own street-royalty style – from the Cryo King Set to the phoenix-winged backpack and the legendary gold collector card. Every piece of the collection, created by NotYourType, is built around a single theme: where frost meets flame.

  • CarryMinati Set: A streetwear-meets-royalty outfit: graffiti-print tracksuit, tinted aviators, fur-lined red cape, and orange high-tops, styled on CarryMinati’s own persona.
  • Cryo King Set: A full crystalline ice-armor suit with a jagged frozen crown collar, golden gauntlets, and a flowing icy cape.
  • CarryMinati Card Collection: The premium gold-framed collector card featuring CarryMinati doing his signature pose against a graffiti backdrop.
  • Cryo Runner Buggy: A frost-and-gold dune buggy wrapped in glacial blue ice textures with ornate golden armor plating and matching wheels.
  • Cryo Fire – UMP45: A royal-blue UMP45 skin with a golden phoenix-feather crest and icy accents down the barrel and grip.
  • Cryo Blast Grenade: A blue “CLIMAX”-branded grenade capped with a golden cobra-shaped lever and Indian-inspired gold detailing.
  • Cryo Core Backpack: A regal ice-and-gold shell backpack framed by dramatic red-and-black phoenix wings and feathers.
  • CarryMinati Emote: Tape the mouth shut, and let your gameplay do the talking – a “bring it on” challenge to every opponent on the Battlegrounds.
  • CarryMinati Voice Pack: Drop into every match with CarryMinati’s own voice in your corner – the roasts, the energy, the attitude, straight from Carry himself.
  • Not Your Type Voice Pack: Turn up the swag with the “Not Your Type” voice pack – lines so cool, everyone knows you’re playing in a different league.
  • CarryMinati Recall Tower Voice: CarryMinati’s voice greets players at the Recall Tower, adding his signature energy to every respawn.
  • CarryMinati WOW Map: The WOW map turns up the heat with CarryMinati Boss fights that keep you coming back for more. Take him on, level up the thrill, and see if you’ve got what it takes to outlast the legend.

Players can also redeem Discount Vouchers worth 20, 30 and 50 UC – redeemable up to 5 times per user – to spend on the CarryMinati Spin.
